Prolific Child Actor and ‘NYPD Blue’ Star Austin Majors Passed Away at 27

Austin Majors, a former child star, has passed away at the age of 27. He died on Saturday, and the exact cause of death is still unknown, according to the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner. TMZ has reported that Majors died at a homeless housing facility in Los Angeles.

Born on November 23, 1995, Majors is best known for his portrayal of Theo Sipowicz, the son of Detective Andy Sipowicz played by Dennis Franz, on the TV series NYPD Blue, which was on the air from 1999 to 2004.

According to The Times, Clear Talent Group, who represented Austin Majors, stated that he was a kind and charitable individual with a deep love for the arts.
